It is with great sadness that I notice loss of Govi. I didn´t know her. I send my deepest sympathies for her family.

In kind memory of Govi

This is too much to bear. How cruel fate can be! I like to think of them together writing more fan fiction about Sean and Vigo! I'm sure they can share lots of laughter together now.

It saddens me immensely to hear of Carol's passing. Over the years we've become very good friends and I will miss her terribly.
My sympathies go to her husband Jan and the rest of her family. R.I.P., dear Carol.

I dipped into TMB earlier and had some fun - not realising the news of the death of our dearest Govi had been posted. Such an honourable soul and she was so kind, so full of fun. The magical duo of Govi Mooms is reunited two loving souls now free from pain. Bless them both. Also respect and kindest thoughts to Carol's family at this time.

I could not find the words to express myself the long nights time are here again - a time for weeping and remembering... so I turned to this poem that helped me through another very harsh time ...

Though here at journey's end I lie
in darkness buried deep,
beyond all towers strong and high,
beyond all mountains steep,
above all shadows rides the Sun
and Stars for ever dwell:
I will not say the Day is done,
nor bid the Stars farewell.

Words fail me. My deepest sympathies to Jan and the rest of the family. Gone but not forgotten. R.I.P.

If you seek me, seek me in your heart,
if you can find me there, I'm not lost.

I am so sad...but Govi, you are The Chosen, and all your dreams now will come true...together with Mooms. The Fate walks strange paths.
You will not be forgotten, dear friend!
Rest in peace... :flower: :flower: :flower:

My heart goes out to Jan and family.

Like so many here, I see Carol and Jeanne sitting on a cloud somewhere, watching over Viggo and Sean and laughing madly. Did two grown men ever have such new and novel guardian angels?

This is such sad news, even though expected. May I send my thoughts and prayers to Jan and Carol's family. It is so appropriate that their funerals are on the same day; I am sure they are already together, creating delightful havoc and brightening the angels' lives with their wicked wit. Thank you, dear Carol, for creating this site that has brought so much joy to so many, all over the world.

Govi too ? Oh my, I am so sorry to hear that. How fate plays a hand so close to Moominm even it was expected at any day.... and she passed away on my birthday  Carol leaves an empty space that would be hard to fill. My sympathy to her family and friends

R.I.P. dear Carol. Although you are gone from this world, you leave something beautiful and amazing behind. You poured passion and dedication into The Mighty Bean and created a community to which complete strangers can bond, laugh, and at this moment, cry and mourn over losing you.

I did not have to know her personally to know how special she was; no one ordinary could create something as wonderful as The Might Bean.

My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

I'm so sad to hear Carol has passed away. It's such a blow to lose her and Jeanne so soon after each other.

I feel very lucky to have met her and to have gotten to know her through this wonderful forum.

Rest in peace dearest Carol. All my love to Jan and the rest of her family.

I don't know what to say. My deepest condolences go to Carol's family.

Within a few days TMB has lost two important and beloved persons. They will never be forgotten.

To die - one doesn't do that to a cat.
Because what is a cat to do
in an empty flat?
To climb the walls
To wander among the furniture.
Nothing seems changed
But changed it is.
Nothing seems moved
But it is apart.
And the lamp stays dark in the twilights.
