I got them on Ebay, of course.

I haven't seen cd's of them, only tapes. I believe I had to get them from an UK seller. But, tapes like cd's, will play world-wide UNLIKE dvd's.

I still occasionally see them up for sale on Ebay U.S., so you are likely to find them.

MRose let me know if you find them on that site. I am registered to that site as well but haven't seen anything like that there yet... maybe i'm not looking in the right places.... Would love to have them too.

I'm not registered and I haven't looked yet. So if you can't find it there, maybe it is not there anymore??

Browse down the page - the audio stuff is at the bottom. Books and Readings.
Both Sharpe's Tiger and Sharpe's Devil are there.

PHEW. I have just finished re-reading ALL the Sharpe books one after another - something I have never done before. It made me love the character all over again, with all his faults - irascible, murderous, tough, brave, weak (where women are concerned) but magnificent. I confess about half way through this mammoth task I began skipping some of the more blood-thirsty battle scenes and the oft-repeated bits about how to load a rifle (which I can now do as fast as Richard!), but I am amazed once more by Bernard Cornwell's brilliant imagination and the way he builds such excitement into his plots. Watching only the films, one is inclined to forget how relatively little they follow the books and how much, of necessity, the film makers had to leave out. But the ads for the films were so right - "Sean Bean IS Sharpe".

I am (trying to..) finish "Sharpe's Escape" but it takes me long as I don't have much time to read. I agree - Bernard Cornwell give such 'real' description of events and what is happening.
The part in the book where Sharpe gets ambushed, overpowered, beaten and almost killed in this book was 'edge of seat' reading and so well written. It was like was watching it on TV. I actually can't wait to continue reading to see what happens when these two lock horns again, because it IS going to happen. The book is on my bedside table, but time is not my friend...
