Great find, Xenia. I really love this book! I have lost count of how many times I've listened to the audio book.

My mother and I decided to drop by a used bookstore the day before yesterday, but I made the mistake of taking my three kids in (biiiiig mistake, that). The two older kids were okay, but the youngest was a bit insane, so I didn't get a chance to look for any of the Sharpe books like I had intended (though, thankfully, there were no other customers in the store for my 5-year-old to bother). However, as I was dragging the screaming young'un out the door, fanning away the steam that was by then shooting out my ears, I happened to look down a table and saw "SHARPE'S TIGER" in big, bold letters on a slightly worn cover.

:runaround:

I picked up the book, tossed it to my mother to buy for me, told her I'd pay her back for it, then got the kiddo out into the open air. Of course, I haven't had a chance to read more than a few pages yet, but what I have read makes me want to keep going and going... and I can't wait to get some quality time with Sharpe in literary form. If the kids will let me, that is
