I had to promise to sell a few of mine before I could bring any more into the house, LOL!

If I don't give away some, I'll end having books everywhere in the house and me sleeping outside on the doormat...

On the subject of books about Sean, has anyone read "Sharpe Cut" and if so, what did you think of it?

Wow, thanks so much for typing all that from the book! It was wonderful to read. I love how she speaks of Daragh --- I think I want him, too! :-D

I keep finding hidden gems in this site?

I've read the link now, thanks Govi. I agree with other's comments about the writer, it was almost as if she was determined not to like Sean, and how could she expect him to have any faith in her, when you consider what she wrote about him in the past. At one point he referred to her as a spy - quite right!

Thanks for the reminder link on the site. I haven't been a member long enough to have seen this before and I don't have time to find all that is here.
How do you remember all this? Another testimonial to your talents. I love this place. As for the book, may have to buy it, even with all your quotes. I am sure Sean Bean is a challenge to write about and do it objectively. Thanks again. :-D  :-D  Loveya, JOY

I did buy "Sharpe Cut" after reading about it on this site. Purchased on Amazon - used - for about USD $4. The shipping cost as much but arrived quickly.

Govi covered most of what was written in the book about Sean, but the other parts are very interesting especially when it comes to getting the film made. Shows some of the challanges of getting another Sharpe made anytime soon. The book was an interesting read. Of course much more interesting when Sean was mentioned.

The color photos in Sharpe Cut are wonderful and more than worth the price of the book.

And I'd like to agree with Ms.Taken about the pictures! They're great and there are LOTS of them!
