RocknRolla

Post by Terry » Fri Nov 07, 2008 11:05 pm

This movie is a fast-paced, fun, and funny gangster movie! Guy Ritchie wrote and directed this film which stars: Gerald Butler, Thandie Newton, Tom Wilkinson, Mark Strong, Idris Elba, and a riveting young actor named Toby Kebbell. The soundtrack was great, the action fast and furious, and the violence is mostly not graphic--there is actually one scene with some muscular Russians that is quite funny. I enjoyed it very much.

I agree Terry - I thought this was a great film. There are some really funny bits of dialogue too.

Apparently the soundtrack has bits of the narration as well as the music - like the bit at the beginning where they explain what a RocknRolla is.

It is hilarious...which dance sequence are you talking about....the one with Stella and One Two...or Handsome Bob and One Two? :rotflmao: Both of them were pretty damn funny...
And Jason? Well, every firm needs a mad acid bath murderer, don't they?

I liked the part where Handsome Bob tells One Two how he'd like to spend his last night of freedom.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! :flirt: I don't know a whole lot of folks (offline at least) who have seen this film. A shame really because I think it's just great.

:agree: Was a great movie! I love the scene with One Two running away from the mobsters. The cinematography (sp?) was fabulous. One of my favourites from him.

This movie made me a fan of Guy Ritchie which led me to "Snatch," and "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels." I don't know if I would have seen the latest "Sherlock Holmes" either.
