Sherlock

Post by blue » Tue May 22, 2012 9:32 am

Anyone watching this? or had watched it? because this was in UK last year I think?!

Currently there is the second season in Austria.

I love this series. They are so great together, Sherlock and Watson!! Benedict Cumberbatch is really perfect as Sherlock :flirt:

I almost like them more than Robert Downey (who is great too) and Jude Law (not my type) in the movie version.

I almost fell of my chair, when Moriarty first appeared. Didn't expect him!! Don't want to tell more about him, because I don't want to spoil the surprise...

Loved this when it aired a few months ago here. Ending left me frustrated!! Google it and there are so many theories! Don't think I can wait until next year for the next series.

We loved it too. Great chemistry between Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeeman and it is very clever how the writers use and reference the original stories. :-D

:agree: Love the show! :cheer: I enjoyed the movies, but I think the show is far closer to the spirit of the original books, despite being set in the present day. And BC is fab! :-D

There are still 2 episodes left. I am very curious about the ending!!

Can't wait the 3rd season too, but it will take a bit longer till it comes to Austria

They are currently busy with "The Hobbit".

I agree about how they adapt the original stories to the 21th century!!

What do you think about Irene Adler? I read that there are people who dislike her?! I somehow like her...

I've seen the first season and will for sure see the rest. Liked it very very much. Great choice of actors, and very convincing traslation to contemporary time :likeit:

Yeah, I saw that... but I also saw that HMV Canada had it on their website for $24.99, three dollars cheaper than Amazon and available right away, so I went there at lunch today and they only had one copy left. I was real happy to get the last copy until the salesguy told me it was on sale for 34.98!!! :wtf: Needless to say, I dropped that sucker like a hot potato and spent my money over at Best Buy, which had it for the same price as Amazon, which may be $3 more than I had planned to spend initially, but a helluva lot cheaper than HMV!

Why do they even bother posting bogus prices on their website when the local store can set the price at whatever number they want?! GRRRR!!!! Image
