Such sad news with both of our two ladies gone, but somehow I like the idea of the two them sitting together somewhere and enjoying each others company without any pain any more.
My deepest condolences to both families. I hope they find strength in the company of family and friends and the knowledge that we will never forget Mooms and Govi.

I am so sad to hear this.

My deepest sympathy to Jan.

Rest in Peace Govi. I am sure you and Mooms will have a great time together!

I feel so selfish but am so sad to hear about Govi's passing, however I am so happy for her & Jan that they had time with each other.

I do not wish to be intrusive or rude but did Govi pass away at home, or in hospice?

my hope is she passed in her own bed, near her garden & with Jan by her side.

I remember communicating with Govi a number of times over the years, she was just incredibly thoughtful and such a lovely person. I've been a member of the board for some years but for various reasons my id would get disabled because i just lurked & didn't post.

I will miss both women, but I'm so happy they aren't in pain anymore.

I have been away from this board for a while due to having to deal with two ailing parents (one in cancer treatment) and I was just making out my belated Xmas list and checking an old e-mail from Govi about her moving and something made me check the board and I came across this. To say I am shocked and saddened is an understatement. I had no idea that Carol had been ill and now this. Although I had not interacted with her for almost a year now, I always kept her in mind. She was a generous soul and I have missed and will continue to miss her. My condolences to her RL family and her MB family....

Carol... God Bless. God Keep.
